What poundage or bow draw weight is the most commonly used in deer hunting??

What poundage or bow draw weight is the most commonly used in deer hunting?? Hard to say. Around here, we have a bunch of folks that max out their 70 lb bows...as do I. If you took a poll of adult men, I'd say 70 lbs +/- a couple.

I would agree with the 70# statement but I have met alot of guys this year running around the 3-d ranges that are pulling 60# bows and getting some awesome speed and performance outta them.
I shoot my bow at 70# but I really considered shooting it at 60# because of a shoulder injury. I solved my problem by buying the new Cardiac by Ross Archery. This thing is so much smoother drawing than my Bowtech Tribute I had that I was able to continue shooting it at 70# with no problems.

I hunt with 55 only. I could do more but I find it easier when the adrenaline rush hits to draw back easily.

I'm good with #60 it's easy to draw. which is key for me. Wouldn't want to be out there struggling to draw back.
