:)hey folks my names joey allen i do a little bit of work here at kluckys outdoor adventures i would just like to set up a little thing right here where you can share your hunting stories so ill start of telling my 2007 turkey hunting story
well john (klucky) picked me up at around 6:50 so you can only imagine we were running just about two hours late we got to a spot we had tryed a couple weeks prior when we arrived we saw another hunter exiting the area so we figured the birds were pretty well edjucated that morning . john stoped on the road we were driving up and gave a couple calls with his mouth call imediatly a turkey responded with a loud gobble we through the truck in reverse and parked on a snowmobiling trail and ran into the woods well i got situated against a tree john put out our hen decoy "jenny" he started up the camera and we did my intro john gave another call and he gobbled back i asked john how far he was and he said right on the other side of the hill all of a sudden appearing on the stone wall was my turkey a huge boss gobler who never came out of full strut as he was spitting and drumming i asked john when i should take him he told me to wait a second then take him i hesitated a little bit then fired and the bird droped right there he weighed 17lbs 3/4 spurs and a 9 3/4 inch beard truely a good first turkey
